The National Court Reporters Foundation introduces a new initiative to preserve the experiences of veterans with hearing loss for the Library of Congress Veterans History Project through the use of CART captioning. CART captioning provides a text translation of the spoken word for the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.
NCRF is partnering with the Hearing Loss Association of America to host an event at HLAA’s national headquarters to interview multiple veterans with profound hearing loss.
If you are, or know, a veteran with hearing loss who would like to be interviewed about your wartime experiences, please join us.
