Call for Papers

It’s that time of year again. The 2009 MASC will be in Phoenix Arizona on March 2-4. This year we are doing something different. The AVAA and MAA are joining together to make the JDVAC (Joint Defense/Veterans Administration Conference). Our theme for this conference is: “Two Forces—One Mission“.

The military presentations are the backbone of the MASC meeting. This venue gives us a way to express what is going on in Military Audiology. This will be a very exciting year and I hope that we get full participation from both sides. Below is a list of items that must be completed before we can obtain CEUs for your presentations.

Presentation submission requirements:
a. Full name and rank
b. 2 e-mail addresses (personal and business)
c. Compete business address and phone number
d. Time required for presentation (15 min/20min/25min/30 min. etc)
e. A/V equipment required
f. 250 word abstract
g. Title
h. 200 word biographical sketch
i. Day of conference not available for presenting
j. Presentation open to public or MAA only or VA only??
k. Do you want to present at the breakout day sessions on Monday or during the main 2 conference days Monday or Tuesday.
l. Power point presentation is required. Send approximate number of slides to be presented.

If the above submission requirements are not completed in full your submission will be returned to you for completion. Incomplete submissions cannot be accepted or approved for presentation. Please submit to Virginia Hays via our Contact Page by 1 Nov 08.
