2000 NHCA Meeting

For those with responsibilities for hearing conservation, a great learning experience is right around the corner. The 25th annual conference of the National Hearing Conservation Association is scheduled for February 17-19 2000 in Denver, Colorado. The program is a blend of research, policy, and practical application offerings, including half-day workshops from some of the leading experts in various parts of the field, including Elliott Berger of EAR on hearing protectors; Dennis Driscoll of Associates in Acoustics on noise control engineering techniques; John Franks of NIOSH on regulations and standards; Richard James of JAA on new technology and internet applications for hearing conservation; Jim Banach of Quest on instrumentation; and Laurie Kastner-Wells with a special one-day seminar on the “Essentials of Hearing Conservation for the Overwhelmed”.

Technical, platform and poster sessions will layout new reserach and “lessons learned”, and a substantial exhibit hall will be filled with all the latest from vendors serving the field.
