About our special guest speaker: Dr. Paula Myers, Ph.D. will present “Update on Auditory Dysfunction and TBI.” Dr. Myers is Chief Audiology Section and Cochlear Implant Coordinator at James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center in Tampa, Florida. Her research interests include encoding efficiency of perceptual learning modalities, patient health education, curriculum development, adult health literacy, polytrauma, tinnitus management, cochlear implants, and self-directed learning.
