The joint meeting information for 2010 can be found here. Regarding the Military Audiology Association; past references to this organization’s meeting were referred to as the Military Audiology Short Course (MASC). These references are for historical purposes. Beginning in 2009 the MAA merged meetings with AVAA to form the JDVAC.
This course is our yearly preeminent event. It is typically a 2-3 day event by which the membership can obtain continuing education credits from AAA and ASHA. Guest speakers may be ex-members of the association or featured speakers of a specific area.
Our 2009 meeting was held at Mesa, AZ, in conjunction with the Association of VA Audiologists annual meeting. A listing of presentations can be found at the AVAA website.
