Since 1921, William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) has provided care for military personnel and their eligible family members. WBAMC is one of two trauma centers in El Paso County and consists of twelve stories that cover more than a half-million square feet of floor space. WBAMC provides trauma care to the surrounding community and a full range of medical care to Fort Bliss, which supports over 19,000 troops and will grow to over 37,000 as it undergoes the largest post expansion in the Army. ]]>This individual should have a strong working knowledge of vestibular anatomy and physiology, assessment and management, three or more years of experience in the clinical research field, a track record of publications, and should demonstrate an interest in and ability to conduct vestibular research. Must also possess excellent clinical skills and be comfortable working with human subjects in a research environment, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be methodical and organized in collecting and documenting processes and data.

Army audiologists provide clinical, rehabilitative, occupational, educational, operational and industrial hearing services to Soldiers, civilian noise exposed workers and other eligible beneficiaries. Serving as an Army audiologist provides opportunities for professional growth and development in management, leadership, research, and education. Army audiology positions are available in several States, Germany, Korea, Alaska and Hawaii.
